The purpose of the Canadian NAWMP NTS is to track partner contributions, expenditures and accomplishments related to the delivery of NAWMP in Canada on a quarterly basis.

The Canadian NAWMP NTS tracks acres and dollars at the initiative level for Habitat Joint Ventures, and tracks dollars at the initiative level for Species Joint Ventures. Habitat Joint Ventures initiative level activities, along with their program level sub-components, are defined in Common Language for Canadian NAWMP Habitat Joint Ventures reference document. Species Joint Ventures initiative level activities are based on primary activities from the prior Canadian NAWMP NTS.

The Canadian NAWMP NTS is managed by the North American Wetlands Conservation Council (NAWCC) Canada with the goal of maintaining a record of Canadian national NAWMP accomplishments.
